Lead financial advisor to OTSA and OTSP, international freight forwarding and warehousing businesses, on their 100% sale to German owned and controlled a.hartrodt Australia.
Management buy-out and major restructure of the Transtar International Freight Group from 2009 – 2018. Subsequent 100% sale to TVS Logistics: 2015 – 2018. David remained a Director of the TIF Group until August 2018.

This was an extremely complex financing given the public sentiment, the range of stakeholders and the fact that Chase and Barclays had previously failed in their efforts to successfully fund the project. Multiplex and West LB successfully structured equity, mezzanine and debt funding totalling £757m to underpin the construction of the project.

Project manager responsible for Phase 1 and 2 of the privatisation of the National Transmission Network. Phase 1 and 2 of this project included: significant vendor due diligence, deal structuring, consideration of property issues and an access regime to exist in a post sale environment, O&M and key customer negotiations, review of transition of capital works in progress and preparation of sale documentation.
Strategic advice in relation to the merger of a subsidiary of Belron International, a U.K. listed company with a major U.S. manufacturing business.
Adviser to Gribbles Pathology, a major Australian medical group. The engagement involved the development of a shareholder value strategy, vendor due diligence programme, negotiation of the exit of existing shareholder groups, preparation of an information memorandum, debt reconstruction, institutional and corporate equity raising in Australia, Asia and the USA and deal completion. The engagement resulted in a 50/50 joint venture with the Berjaya Group of Bhd of Malaysia.
